Hakka handmade noodle @ Nyan Shin Cafe in Kuching

Ok. I know a lot of people have blogged about this, but as a faithful customer of their noodle store, I gotta blog about them anyway.... THIS IS A MUST EAT NOODLE IF YOU BEEN TO KUCHING OTHERWISE YOU WILL REGRET!!!!!!  hehehhe~ this is how I praise them... So if you don't know where the Nyan Shin Cafe is, find you way to Carpenter Street in Kuching, they are waiting for you.

Because I am a Buddhist so I never try their beef noodle but I heard my friend said it's equally good as other flavour. Today I would recommend their Lamb noodle, Chicken noodle, Pork noodle and their "Mouse Tail" which I directly translate from Chinese because I don't know what it calls in English but in Mandarin, it is named as "Lao Shu Fen" and Hakka "Lo Shu Shi". Though I only have the picture of lamb noodle and chicken noodle. Sorry.... ;)

So the special thing about their noodle is the noodle itself (If you eat the lamb flavoured noodle, the lamb is very nice as well) Their noodle is purely handmade by their family members and the taste of egg (I guess that taste is from egg? I don't know. It's simply nice anyway.) are so outstanding. The noodle is very springy and if you eat with the lamb, there will be another different taste. One more credit for them is their noodle include crackling!!! which is shown in the picture below (the golden stuff on the top of noodles). and now you can imagine how delicious it is! So, if you are visitor of Kuching, I suggest you to order 2 bows, one chicken/pork so that you can eat the original taste, another lamb or beef, so you can have another kind of taste. Both are delicious!

So, that's all for today. See you guys next time. Tata.

p/s: Sorry for the blur picture provided... I was too excited to eat the noodle so I don't actually check how was the photo.

Food store at the road side of Tapah (22nd mile- outskirt of kuching)

So if you travel to Serian or wherever, and you may pass by Tapah or you just simply want to find nice food, I would recommend you a food store at the road side of Tapah's main road after the buddha pavilion. I do not know the name of the store because there is no sign of it but I do know the number of their store is No. 2. :)  Ok, their food is really really nice especially their chicken feet (you can't find any nicer chicken feet in Kuching at least I never eat any chicken feet nicer than theirs in Kuching), fried rice, craypot fish/kueh tiew/ bee hoon/ noodle, and their lemon chicken. These are the MUST EAT food if you patronise their store. Beside than that, you can try their baby kailan, hokkien noodle etc. it's nice too.

So, this is how the store looks, it's just opposite the 100% discount store located in Tapah. They only operate at night time, though I am not too sure about their operating hours.
So how nice is the food? I would introduce their chicken feet first. The chicken feet is fat and very very soft. when you eat it, you can feel the collagen is dancing in your mouth. and the taste is very simple but yet, very nice... I guess the ingredients include dark soya source, ginger, garlic shoot and maybe some other things I do not know...

So next, fried rice. I do not know how they make it, but it is extraordinarily nice. I see they only fried with chicken, eggs, garlic, and green onion but it is magically nice... you have to try it out and try to figure what is their mysterious ingredients... hehehe~

This time we ordered craypot bee hoon but I can tell you whatever craypot they have are all delicious!!!!!! I am being too lazy to describe so please just look at the picture... I don't know how to describe too... I mean come on, your gotta try it out.

It's sad that we did not order lemon chicken this time (because I just recovered from fever, flu and cough) thus I am so so so sorry that I am unable to show you guys the picture but do order it if you patronise to their store... and you can try their baby kailan as well, it's mysteriously crunchy....

Last but not least, Hokkien noodle... this may be a bit different from Singapore's hokkien noodle but anyway, the name is hokkien noodle as well...  whatever... it's nice anyway~

Ok, so that's all for today... will update the next blog after I attended to nice place ate the nice food. tata~
